As part of campus wide restructuring at Auburn University, the Space Research Institute ended its on-campus operations on October 31, 2011 and is currently in the process of reorganizing as a small business start-up, XEEL LLC,
the eXtreme Environmental Effects Laboratory.
In our new 6,500 sqft. facility located in Notasulga Alabama, 15 miles from Auburn, XEEL will continue to build upon the expertise developed over our first twenty five years to provide our partners and clients in the aerospace community with unique development and engineering services in the evaluation, integration and fielding of advanced aerospace materials and systems.
